About Georgina Louise

I've always found peace in the countryside. It's where I slow down and notice the little details and find inspiration for my work.

More recently, I've become fascinated by the way light and water can completely transform a scene. Through my artwork I love capturing those moments of colour transformation, where reflections, movement and natural light create atmosphere and draw the viewer into the scene.

Whether its light glistening across water, the soft glow of the evening sunshine or the quiet character of an animal, I strive to capture not just the subject, but the atmosphere and feeling that makes each moment special.

Alongside my original collections, I also accept a limited number of bespoke pet and wildlife commissions, creating artwork that celebrates the animals and memories that mean the most to my collectors.

Every piece is created by hand using a combination of professional artist-grade soft pastels and pastel pencils on Clairefontaine Pastelmat. with a focus on realism, atmosphere and the unique character of each subject.

Based in Oxfordshire, I continue to find inspiration in the countryside that surrounds me.
